Global Academy had its first Ofsted inspection on 6th-7th March and 9th May 2019. We are delighted that the work that the Academy has completed in a short period of time has been recognised by Ofsted.

University Technical Colleges such as Global Academy are very unique and it is recognised that they should not be judged in the same way as mainstream schools, so it was very pleasing to have the strength of our Specialism acknowledged by Ofsted.

 

‘Leaders have taken effective action to improve pupils’ progress. They have raised expectations and ensured that behaviour has improved. The quality of teaching, learning, and assessment is also improving. These improvements have contributed to pupils in key stage 4 making greater progress than in the past. In the sixth form students make good progress because teaching is effective.’
